Pranayama Classes at Yogsharan

Pranayama, the ancient yogic practice of breath control, is the art and science of harnessing life force energy (prana) through intentional breathing techniques. Derived from the Sanskrit words prana (life energy) and ayama (extension or control), Pranayama is a cornerstone of yoga that promotes physical vitality, mental clarity, and emotional balance. At Yogsharan, Nina, a Yoga Alliance USA-certified teacher with 500 hours of training, brings her eight years of expertise—rooted in her transformative journey in Rishikesh, India—to guide you through this profound practice.

Pranayama enhances oxygen flow, calms the nervous system, and fosters mindfulness, making it a powerful tool for managing stress, anxiety, depression, and physical conditions like PCOS, PCOD, and respiratory challenges. By regulating the breath, Pranayama cultivates inner peace and supports holistic well-being, complementing other yoga practices like Hatha and Vinyasa.
